Policy & Heritage Advocacy: Providing technical contributions to city ordinances, such as the Iligan City Heritage Code of 2023 and ordinances preserving the Tartanilya as a traditional mode of transportation.
Cultural Preservation: Conducting cultural mapping consultations with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and validating historical sites like Bayug Island; Technical assistance in the preparation of Andrada Building as Museo de Iligan.
Indigenous Engagement: Hosting stakeholder forums and planning exploratory talks with Higaonon communities.
Educational Outreach: Organizing SASE review sessions for the Rogongon Agricultural School and "Dok Manny ang Inyong Kabayani" outreach programs.

Iliganong Kabilin Project: A large-scale cultural mapping project involving 18 barangays and over 500 participants, including LGU officials and teachers.
Environmental Stewardship: The "Kabataan ng Kasaysayan para sa Kalikasan" tree planting activities in collaboration with Mapalad Power Corporation.
Disaster Resilience: Participating in the "Adopt-A-City" program to build disaster-resilient communities in Iligan.
Inclusive Arts: Organizing the Pakiglambigit and Paglangkob series, which engage visual artists, artisans, and persons deprived of liberty (PDL) at the Iligan City Jail.
The Department bridges the gap between academic expertise and industry-relevant practice to enhance student employability and support sectoral growth.
Project PASUNDAYAG: A public history exhibit series involving city tourism, museums, and heritage practitioners.
Institutional Partnerships: Active collaborations with the Bangsamoro Commission for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage (BCPCH), the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), and international networks like UH Mānoa.
